Review of Myron Golden's Super Speed Sponsoring Success Scripts Talking Ebook
So, I ran across Myron Golden's new product. It is called Super Speed Sponsoring Success Scripts Talking Ebook(I know, its a long name for a book). In other words, they are MLM Scripts that build a downline with speed, rather than sluggishness. I thought skeptically that that was intereting. Myron says that what you say and how you say it can make your MLM recruiting successful or slow. I have always used scripts, but never thought about how some scripts could possibly slow you down.
If you have not heard of Myron Golden, here is a little background on him...
Myron Golden has been in the MLM/Network Marketing industry for around 20 years. He's made millions collectively in the industry. He is also well known as a speaker and trainer for the MLM/Network Marketing industry. He claims that with his new "Talking Ebook," he and others have built between 50 and 300 people per month into their MLM downlines using the MLM recruiting scripts in the "Talking Ebook."
Now, there are a lot of products out there making claims like this. Everyone's got the newest secret to put 1000 people in your MLM downline in a minute, right? I myself...have tried most of them (ahem). I have built organizations fast, slow, and non-existent. So, with my experience I decided to try the Ebook, and see what I thought about it, it had a return policy if I thought it was trash.
First, one thing he does very well in it, is that he explains the slow sponsoring scripts, and why they are "slow." For example, when I first got involved in MLM/Network Marketing, I was told to use this script:
"If I could show you a way to make an extra $500/month, would you be interested?"
Ever heard that? What's the problem? Myron rips it apart. I thought,"Hey, thats my original script pal, back off."
But Myron did a good job explaining why its a bad script. "If I could show you a way" implies that you know something they don't know, and it is a weird question in general. Also, $500 a month is not a big number, and will attract people that want to make hundreds of dollars, not people that want to make thousands per month. It also sounds like some generic number. Myron says to use specific numbers, like $4,365. Another important point he made is that saying, "would you be interested," is a phrase that gives the prospect the control to easily say "no" without thinking twice. Ah, so thats why I got all those weird looks from my friends and mall workers those first few months.
This is just one example. When I first started in the industry, I used many of these scripts. And of course, many of them he rips apart, such as:
"Hey, I've got this new business and I think you'd be great at it."
"I value your opinion and wanted you to tell me what you think about my MLM thingy."
I am being a little sarcastic, but he really shows the flaws in scripts like these, even though most companies teach them(at least from my experience in 4 companies).
Next, Myron gives the SPEEDY scripts for warm market, cold market, lead lists(and tells you what leads to call), call back scripts, voicemail scripts, 3-way scripts, rejection scripts, getting people to event scripts, and encouraging your team scripts. They are all pretty thorough too.
It is good that it is a "talking" ebook because you can even hear the speed and tone in which he says the scripts. He also explains why he says things a certain way, and teaches a good deal of great posturing. He has one section about how to never get another no, that was really interesting as far as posturing.
There's also a bonus chapter with some good resources.
Last, I like that his scripts are not the same old thing. Are you ever out at the mall or somewhere(that used to be me) and someone asks you one of the "slow" scripts? You can see them coming.
"What do you do for a living? If I could show you a way..." (in the most scared tone you've heard)
Ugh, I just want to tell those people how much bad they are doing for themselves. I've listened to some good and some bad prospecting scripts for MLM/Network Marketing, but I would say that Myron's scripts in Super Speedy Success Scripts are in the top percentage. I wasn't disappointed. I tested the lead scripts and the 3-way scripts the most and had success. His script for recruiting other networkers is great.
On a side note, I had an issue with downloading the book and Myron was very helpful to get it to me as quick as possible...he seemed like a good guy.
